Actor Dan Krejčík – Stropnický’s partner. He avoided the downed wires on the D1 motorway
O great luck says Daniel Krejčík, life partner of actor and municipal politician Matěj Stropnický. On Friday evening, violent and strong storms “knocked” in various parts of the Czech Republic. It was storming near Vimperekin the Kašperské hory, near Tábor, but also pnear Velké Popovice and in front of Prague. It was on the 15th kilometer of the D1 highway that an event occurred that just happened without tragedy.
Broken high voltage pole
The metal structure of the very high voltage poles could not withstand the fierce gusts of wind and the driving rain. one stood off the highway. At a height of a few meters, it broke and fell. Wires, which, according to spokeswoman Sonia Holingerová, ČEZ immediately had turned off so that they were not under voltage, found themselves right on the road.
Due to the accident, thousands of households were without power, and traffic on the highway had to be interrupted, causing long queues. “The highway will be closed until at least the morning!” the Police of the Czech Republic warned the driver on Twitter around 11 p.m. It was actually put into operation only early in the morning the next day.
“I’m going to say goodbye”
He was one of them Daniel Krejcik, who got stuck in the column. He shared his impressions with his fans on Instagram. “I’m on the D1 highway, two kilometers in front of me the high-voltage currents fell, which can be explained as very lucky,” he realizes. TO the tragic accident must not have lacked much!
“So I’m glad it didn’t fall on me. You can’t go anywhere. Not even forward. Not even backwards. I’ve been driving home for almost three hours and I’ve been standing in one place for an hour, and I’ll probably be standing here for another 6, 7, 8 hours,” Krejčík said. “I finished my water. I don’t have a flashlight and gas. I’ll probably outline myself. I’m going to say goodbye to you.But he didn’t stay alone in the emergency, two truck drivers offered him juice.
Few would laugh in such a situation. But the actor kept his perspective. “I’d let it go, I can feel myself getting old here. I’ll be 80 when I get home. I’ve already made up everything about my life. I’m probably going to be surprised with another new truck. If you can’t find me anywhere in the morning, I’m probably somewhere in Germany with the new Helmut,” he concluded.
The actor and life partner of Matěj Stropnický can claim great happiness. Not far from where he was driving on the D1, a very high voltage power line fell on the highway. Even so, the actor spent long hours waiting in line.
