Parallel Sessions / EU Workshop.
On the margins of the Estoril Conferences, this year dedicated to the theme “The rebalancing of Our World: an Appeal to the Generation of Purpose”, the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal dedicates a Workshop to the theme “Building Tomorrow’s Europeone”. Minna VuorioDirector of the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), addressing the “why” and “how” of a career in the European Union, offering an overview of the advantages of working for the European institutions, a variety of job opportunities and the requirements for join the European Union workforce.
In this workshop, Minna Vuorio will explain what the Union is looking for in candidates with a focus on the knowledge and skills that recent graduates can transfer to a multilingual and multicultural European administration.
However, Minna intends this Workshop to be more than a monologue. You will be interested in career development and hearing from the audience about the EU’s young prospects, that how Europe’s values are developed so that they can develop their careers and can contribute to promoting today’s young people and building. Miguel Cruz, a former student of Universidade Nova SBE and who works for EU institutions was also invited to participate and liven up the discussion.

The Estoril Conferences An international platform that, in 2099, brought well-known leaders to Portugal to debate the main challenges facing the world. Under the theme “Rebalancing Our World: A Call to the Generation of Purpose”, this 2022 edition on September 1st and 2nd presents an agenda that challenges an open intergenerational and inclusive dialogue focused on the main challenges of today for the Planet, for People , for Peace. More than 70 or more sessions spread over 40+ stages are intended to inspire main sessions and parallel action for immediate engagement.
The European Commission Representation in Portugal supports the Estoril Conferences and promotes a parallel session on careers in the European institutions on Friday, September 2nd, between 15:00 and 17:00.
