new 3D terminals deployed to help tourists
In the middle of the summer season, the main one is playing its technological card to help its visitors. Comment ? Thanks to two new 3D terminals. We explain to you.
They are large, rectangular and above all tactile. Deployed in the hall of the station and within the tourist office, these two devices allow a replica of Monaco in 3D.
The goal is “to immerse the tourist in a virtual representation of the city” says Georges Gambarini, program manager Smart city.
A map accompanied by practical information “enabling them to find their way around and visualize the pedestrian route better”.
In concrete terms, these terminals indicate points of interest and information on various themes: Monuments and Iconic Places, Venues and Congresses, Beaches, Photo Spots, Shops and Markets, Museums or even Parks & Gardens.
Four tourist routes are also offered: “One day in Monaco”, “Formula 1 circuit”, “Nature in the city”, “Monuments and emblematic viewpoints”. Routes downloadable on smartphone via a QR Code.
The results of this experiment will be drawn up at the end of the summer and will make it possible to improve the content already presented.
