Spaniard Jokin Murguialday is the last to leave for the prologue of the Volta a Portugal – Observer
The 5.4-kilometre prologue that marks the start, on Thursday, of the 83rd Vuelta a Portugal by bike, in Lisbon, will start at 15:21, ending about two hours later, with the performance of the Spaniard Jokin Murguialday ( Rural Caja).
The back number five appears in the prologue starting order as From the last cyclist of Praça do Impérioat 5:25 pm, starting six minutes after António Carvalho, one of the leaders of Glassdrive-Q8-Anicolor.
The main favorite, the runner-up in title, the Uruguayan Mauricio Moreira, also from Glassdrive-Q8-Anicolor, leaves at 5:01 pm.
The 125 cyclists registered start one minute apart, with the North American Barry Miller (Bai Sicasal Petro de Luanda) being the first to hit the road, at 15:21 minutes, to complete the 5.4 course starting and final at Praça do Império.
