BYD, Hedin Mobility Group partner in Sweden and Germany ahead of the expansion – EV

BYD announced Monday that Hedin Mobility Group has been appointed as a Dealer+ partner to provide distribution, sales and aftermarket services in Sweden and Germany for its hybrid electric vehicles.
The car manufacturer will open its first Swedish store within two months in Stockholm after other cities in Sweden and Germany with delivery of sold orders expected to start in the last quarter of the year.
BYD added that it will launch a customized website for each market later this month and that additional information on models will be announced in September.
BYD, in cooperation with the Hedin Mobility Group, will now actively start selecting top dealers from various regions in Germany to represent the BYD passenger car brand. Hedin Mobility Group is one of Europe’s largest privately owned dealer groups, operating over 230 dealers in eight countries, including Germany, with a significant dealer footprint in Scandinavia. It sold more than 125,000 vehicles in 2021. Hedin Mobility Group will sell BYD’s vehicles in Sweden through its dealer group Hedin Bil and via the specially selected dealers in Germany.

This platform, based on DRIVE Orin, is now in production and powers a broad ecosystem of 25 EV manufacturers building software-defined vehicles on high-performance, energy-efficient AI computers. The open DRIVE Hyperion 8 the platform enables these companies to individualize this programmable architecture according to their needs, leveraging end-to-end solutions to accelerate the development of autonomous driving.
