Tyrolean League: FC Wacker Innsbruck loses the start in Kirchbichl

FC Wacker Innsbruck made a false start in the Hypo Tirol Liga.
The traditional club, which was relegated, lost 1-0 to SV Kirchbichl away from home in the first round.
In front of 1,200 spectators, Akif Güclü’s team got into the party a little worse, Kirchbichl only hit the crossbar in the 25th minute with Noggler. Shortly after the break, Noggler (51st) does it better and nails a volley into the net.
The guests from Innsbruck then get stronger, Cheikh (55th) shoots just over. In the 65th minute, Ajkic had the best chance of making it 1-1, but Fuchs saved on the line. In the final phase, Wacker vehemently pressed for the equaliser, but Jung courageously threw himself into Koni’s dangerous shot (90′ + 4′).
In the second round, Wacker Innsbruck meets SC Mils 05 at home (Friday, 7:30 p.m.).
