Travellin’ Brothers maintains its concert in Bilbao despite the death of the son of one of its members
the group traveling brothers has decided to maintain the concert that will be offered on Sunday night at the closing of the first Bilbao Blues Festival despite the death of the son of one of its members. “We are going to pay him a tribute in style”, indicates the Biscayan band, which will perform in Bilbao with special guests: Fito and Mikel Erentxun.
“We are broken with sadness and pain”, thus begins the message from the Travellin’ Brothers group on Facebook, in which confirm the death of Unax Cañibano, 18 years old and the son of the band’s bassist, Eneko, At the same time, he is also the nephew of two other members, Aitor and Jon. “It is the worst news we will give you in life. He was an incredible being, one of those who endeared themselves wherever they went. He fought every day of his life from the day he was born, and he has given us that fight for 18 wonderful years, ”the message continues.
“We don’t know if it is the right decision, but we have decided that we are not going to suspend tomorrow’s concert and We are going to pay him a tribute in style, as he deserves, in the purest New Orleans style”, explains the group, which anticipates that although “it will probably be the hardest day of our lives, we are going to give everything for it for the last time”.
