The site is not known as a place of discovery and cultural travel, yet the Var Exhibition Departmental Hotel (HDE Var) in Draguignan is inviting mummies from Egypt this summer! Go on “the paths of eternity”.
The visitor discovers an exceptional collection of very different human and animal mummies from Europe and distant continents (Africa, Latin America, Asia, Oceania…), “relics” of famous historical figures, numerous objects associated with mummification techniques, funerary practices, unexpected uses in the medical or artistic field, of iconographic documents, photographs and works of a scientific nature, etc.

Until October 2, 2022, the city of Var has decided to highlight the work of the artist from the region.
An entire city to exhibit his works. This is Draguignan’s gift to the sculptor Beppo. The artist celebrates his 60-year career and for the occasion, he was able to arrange his monumental sculptures according to the squares and alleys of the town of Var where he lives.

For two months, Faben, Brian Caddy, Jérémy Besset and Djiango “graph” to bring life to a historic site in Beausoleil, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
This former 19th century mansion, now abandoned, will be rehabilitated from September.
