Faenza at the Italy-San Marino Tourism Territorial Table
On Friday, the Repubblica del Titano hosted the presentation of the executive part of the ‘TTT Project’, the territorial table on tourism at which representatives of Italy, San Marino, the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Marche, those of 119 Italian municipalities and the nine castles of the Republic of Titano. Within the TTT Project, ‘The lovely places’ was presented, a tourism promotion plan developed as part of the ‘Sustainable tourism development project’, a work born from the synergy between the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions, conceived by the Italian Ministry for cultural heritage and activities together with the Secretariat of State for Tourism of the Republic of San Marino and supported by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
One of the promotional moments will be ‘Terranostra’ television program that will tell the story of San Marino and the villages of Romagna and Marche. The actors Sonia Grassi and the Bolognese comedian Vito they will act as guides for viewers accompanying them, for each episode, to discover the tourist pearls of our areas, illustrating their geographical characteristics, historical and artistic heritage and naturalistic beauties. Places that over time have become strategic areas for the experiential tourism sector and that have given life to food and wine products that have become a symbol of a territory; through the stories of artisans and producers who are committed to defending the traditions and sustainability of the territory, spectators will therefore be able to get to know parts of the territory that contain great peculiarities and beauties “.
Among the episodes on the air, one will be entirely dedicated to Faenza. The special, lasting 60 minutes, shot in over ten points of interest in the city, from the historic center to the Torre di Oriolo dei Fichi, will show the main assets of the tourist offer of the city of Manfreda, including itineraries and paths of discovery that will enhance the identity of the territory.
The meeting was attended by, among others, the Minister of Tourism, Massimo Garavaglia and the Secretary of State for Tourism of San Marino, Federico Pedini Amati, for the Municipality of Faenza were present the deputy mayor, Andrea Fabbri and the director of the Culture Sector, Benedetta Diamanti.
“This – underlined the deputy mayor Andrea Fabbri– it is a great opportunity for Faenza, a communication channel of great impact that will reach many spectators also for the many repeats, both in streaming and on demand, of the episode on our city. When we were offered to participate, we immediately accepted the invitation to sit at the Tourism Table; for this we are grateful to the Republic of San Marino and to its Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati, for having allowed Faenza, even if it is not a small village, to be able to participate in the project to tell about our city ”.
The episode on Faenza will be broadcast domega 7 August, at 1 pm, on the San Marino Rtv network, retand national visible throughout Italy on digital terrestrial on channel 831; it will also be broadcast on the Sky platform on channel 520 and on Tivùsat, on channel 93; replicas: Monday 8 August (9pm), Wednesday 10 (11.15pm) and Friday 12 (9.40am). The program will also be available in streaming on the website www.sanmarinortv.sm and will remain available ‘on demand’ in the Rtv Play section.
