Toulouse. Bison Futé announces a “black” weekend: big traffic jams expected for the crossover

When August arrives, it is the ritual of holidaymakers: the crossover. The julytists will meet the Augustians, which could cause many disruptions to French motorway traffic.

L’A62 will also be avoided on Friday 29, Sunday 31 July and Monday 1uh August in the return direction between Toulouse and Agen (Lot et Garonne). Finally Saturday, July 30, in the direction of departures this time, traffic will be complicated between Agen and Toulouse.
the Toulouse-Nord tollin direction Montauban (Tarn and Garonne), will also likely be crowded. Close to 90,000 vehicles will be expected there at the height of the weekend.
Caution on the roads
According to road safety websiteit is advisable to do breaks every two hours minimum. A good reason to stop for a break.
Rail traffic also disrupted
Due to a social movement, disruptions are to be expected on rail traffic in the Toulouse region. The following lines supposed to be considered for this crossover weekend:

Perpignan – Villefranche – Vernet les Bains
Carcassonne-Limoux
Beziers – Bedarieux
Cerberus – Narbonne – Toulouse

• Béziers – Clermont-Ferrand (from July 11 to August 12 then from August 13 to September 15)
• Pau – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Narbonne – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Agen – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Rodez – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Mazamet – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Auch – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
• Latour-de-Carol – Toulouse (from July 18 to September 23)
