Portugal without questionable situations. Fire of Vila Pouca de Aguiar dominated
More than 700 firefighters met at 10:30 pm today in aftermath or prevention actions in mainland Portugal, most in the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar where the fire that broke out on Wednesday has already been ruled out.
After the fire that broke out on Wednesday in Revel, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, district of Vila Real, was considered dominated by 9:30 pm, no active fire was recorded in mainland Portugal by 10:30 pm, which mobilized a large number of means.
According to information available at 10:30 pm on the website of the National Emergency and Civilian Authority (ANEPC), there were 30 fires in the process of being resolved or extinguished, which mobilized 730 operatives, supported by 216 terrestrial means.
The fire on Wednesday in Revel, Pouca de Aguiar, which was supported for more than 22.30 hours, was supported by 22.30 military vehicles.

According to the municipality, Vilauca de Aguiar lost about 1,000 hectares of pine forest, bush and agricultural crops in the two major fires that raged in the municipality in the last two weeks, with a high financial contribution for the four locations.
Already considered extinguished, the fire that started on Thursday in São Pedro Velho, Mirandela, in the district of Bragança, kept 97 operations on the ground with 30 vehicles.
In the fires that started today, now extinguished, in Franco, Figueira da Foz (Coimbra), 73 operatives were mobilized with 21 vehicles, while in Mapica do Tejo, Castelo Branco, there were 70 firefighters with 19 land assets.
Since 9 pm today, several fires have started, in the districts of Porto, Braga and Viana do Castelo, but which still mobilized few resources at 10:30 pm.
The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANE) today issued a warning to the population about the danger of fires until Monday, at high temperatures and low temperature degrees, calling for preventive behavior.
Civil protection refers, in a statement, that according to information from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), hot and dry weather is expected to continue until the near time (August 1st), low levels of intensity in the interior of the Algarve, with levels of intensity during the interior and in the region over the next few days).
