Michelotti: “San Marino deserves a better political class”

Sugar Mizzy July 28, 2022

We receive and publish a political reflection from the former Secretary of State Augusto Michelotti

In the collective imagination of a national pride in being San Marino, we discover in spite of ourselves that there are those who are rowing against, trying to destroy the image of this country in the world. This ruling political class is the protagonist of this farce; it is the representatives of this government who are not adequate, who do not have the skills and abilities to govern as the majority of its members have shown all their littleness and ignorance which leads to the continuous overcoming of the problems that the administration of public affairs propose the weapon of arrogance every day. Arrogance that manifests itself by taking advantage of a Bulgarian majority and an inherent arrogance in those who, not knowing how to be authoritative, hide in authoritarianism that winks at a dictatorial power that mimics vulgar fascism.
Festini in full lock down which, in other perhaps more civilized countries, led to the fall of the government and the resignation of the Prime Minister; with us they have caused no stir and no shame in those responsible; the most hypocritical were those who handed them over to their party, pretending not to know that this was not the right place and that no one would ask for their real resignations. Because the resignations are given in the GG Council, they are not announced and then withdrawn and, as Totò said: “Are we men, hominic or quaquaraqua?”
This majority appoints a Captain Regent who, confident in the aesthetic qualities of his zebedees, exhibits them to his secretarial staff without taking into consideration the importance of the office he holds in the moment, devastating, in a single minute, the dignity that this institution always has. had over the centuries ridiculed it all over the world, the news has in fact bounced around every corner of the planet. the image of historical seriousness and representation of the San Marino people is having to pass between the caudine gallows of the sneer and the most coarse laughter without possible defense in the face of this reckless attitude that the whole current majority has tried to pass as a prank. We look forward to a peaceful criminal judgment by the ordinary justice.
We have always lost our historic neutral state label (or at least since 1462, the year of our first and last participation in a war) by taking sides against someone without wisely remaining super partes. This is serious and nobody took it too much except those few now obsolete old San Marino people who still have the courage and strength to be indignant and protest but always being very careful because these secretaries of state of ours are very sensitive and with the complaint easy, aware of having a court officer who will order its judges to carry out investigations and prosecutions against riotous citizens who express their views in the press. All silent, as in the best dictatorships.
Maybe Mr. Songs that, having not kept the commitments with the trade unions for the renewal of the AASLP wage contract, find no better way to justify accusing the opposition of not having solved this problem when they were in government (more than three years ago) . This is what children usually do when, at the heart of it, they want to discharge themselves from responsibilities that they are unable to resolve and overcome due to manifest inability; this means not having a sense of reality, that he is incapable with the vice of repeated lying and failure to respect commitment.
A Tonnini, a famous screamer in past experiences in opposition today reduced mute and not achieved in her inconsistent role as Secretary.
A Matteo Zeppa who, in his capacity as president (now former) of the Commission of Justice, has allowed the most devastating misconduct and wickedness to be carried out without saying good and without making a turn. Today he has resumed everything to pontificate and to dispense wisdom and virtue in his council interventions, the stuffed with the most complete absence of modesty. From the series: “A beautiful silence was never written”.
I reserve the right to talk about Teo Gold Lonfernini, Roberto Ciavatta and Federico da Monte Titano at another time because there are too many opportunities offered by the bad governance of these inadequate characters who represent us in such a vulgar way.

Augusto Michelotti
