The exhibition on Josephine Baker at the Museum of Resistance and Deportation will be one of the attractions of the summer. But not only. A brief overview…
At the Museum
To the north of the Pink City, the Gardens of the Museum offer an exhibition on biodiversity and mini tours of the Forgotten Path and the vegetable gardens. In the city center, you can discover the Oka Amazonie exhibition, an installation on trees and numerous workshops.
Also think about the visit in autonomy with your smartphone for a different experience!
“Critical spirit” at the Quai des Savoirs
“Critical spirit, think again! », this is the exhibition-event in recent months, and which remains relevant until the end of 2022. From the end of June and until February 2023, another exhibition is visible, always in connection with the press and news: “Fake news, information that is not going well”.
Finally, the Quai des Petits (2-7 years old) don’t take a vacation!
At the slaughterhouses
Until August 28, 2022, the Abattoirs are devoting part of their premises to the visual artist Orlan, with around a hundred works on display. She is known for her feminist commitment and her work on the body.
Other events are scheduled at Les Abattoirs such as, since the beginning of July 2022, “The uncertainties of space”, a unique exploration of scientific and spatial research that brings together four artists through videos and installations designed using materials from the Cnes archives or more contemporary documents.
The Middle Ages at the Jacobins
All summer long, until September, Toulouse and the Jacobins adorn themselves with the habits of the Middle Ages, a little or poorly known period that can be discovered in a fun and interactive way.
Birds at the water tower
The Gallery Le Château d’Eau de Saint-Cyprien presents, in collaboration with Atelier EXB, the collective exhibition “Birds” which brings together 12 internationally renowned photographers on a common theme, with texts by ornithologist Guilhem Lesaffre .
The exhibition, present until August 21, 2022, will then be presented at the Hangar in Brussels from September.
