“United Russia” supported the candidacy of Denis Manturov for the post of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is extremely challenging. On the whole, the activities of the ministry meet the challenges facing the Russian industry. In order to consider the stability of the economy in the context of economic meetings, to form intersectoral, economic and balance relations, the work of the Ministry of Industry and Trade should be carried out in the interests of and meet with all ministries with the priority of industrial policy. That is why the decision on conferring the status of Minister of Industry and Trade to the level of Deputy Prime Minister “United Russia” considers its duty and timely. This was stated by the chairman of the Duma Committee on Industry Vladimir Gutenev (“United Russia”).
According to him, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is distinguished by an innovative approach to the development and implementation of effective support mechanisms in various industries.
“At the same time, we expect more from the ongoing import substitution in the current conditions. Today, the key challenge for manufacturing is not just to consider taking responsibility. We need to create our own technologies and demand the technological sovereignty of our country,” Vladimir Gutenev emphasized.
In its turn Denis Manturov It was noted that today, when Russia has taken up the next stage of testing and unprecedented pressure, much has already been achieved for the study and development of the economy and it is very rare.
“We managed to contain the first blows and neutralize the negative consequences. Anti-crisis actions worked for free. More than 700 backbone enterprises received preferential loans for a turnover of 1 trillion rubles. Capitalized industrial development fund, which is 81 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Projects of reverse engineering and additional support for R&D are being rolled out across the industry. A number of targeted measures have been implemented for other manufacturing industries,” he said.
Also, the task is to completely revive the electronic engineering sub-sector in Russia, without which even the most advanced global manufacturer cannot succeed today.
“As a task for myself, I set, first of all, the transfer of critical value to domestic software and hardware solutions, including the fifth generation communication system and other areas of digitalization of our economy,” said Denis Manturov.
At the same time, according to him, the tasks facing the industry as a whole are currently being solved.
“We need to make a turn from modern industrial policy to control over the observance of technological sovereignty. First of all, in connection with the current receipt of components, we will have the emergence of new connections. Now we are doing it manually. We will master mass production at an accelerated pace by replacing it with specially imported components,” said Denis Manturov.
In turn, the deputy head of the association “United Russia” Vladimir Ivanov found that it is necessary to work more closely with the business community.
“A constructive dialogue with small and medium-sized businesses in the consideration of the Russian Federation will quickly lead to solving problems. Of course, it is necessary to use those industrial sites that are in the background,” he explained.
We are with you (note – Denis Manturov) in one presidential meeting, together and all the decisions that the President puts, we will decide together, he concluded.
