Munich: Small plane on the way to Salzburg has to make an emergency landing
A small plane with three people made an emergency landing near Munich Airport. Now the police are giving more details and the reason for the emergency landing.
Munich/Freising – Witnesses probably landed on Friday afternoon at around 12.15 p.m east of the Stoibermühle recreation area in the Freising district in a field, as the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North announced in a press release. The recreation area in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Marzling is only a few kilometers north of the airport and near the city of Freising.
The witnesses reported this immediately via emergency call. The rescue chain was then set in motion. Numerous forces from the surrounding fire brigades, the airport fire brigade, the rescue service and the police went to the crash site south of the A92.
All three occupants are said to have been injured in the incident. A person became with the rescue helicopter to the hospital flown. The police were initially unable to provide any information about the degree of knowledge and the reasons for the emergency landing.
