Toulouse. Extended hours, disrupted tram… Tisséo adapts its public transport for July 14

On the occasion of the National Holiday, Thursday July 14, 2022, many people are expected on the quays of the Garonne, at Toulouseto attend the event… and no doubt take a breath of fresh air at night, in the face of a very likely new episode of heat wave!
Before the fireworks, UN big gig is scheduled on the Prairie des Filtres, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with many headliners. To allow Toulouse residents to enjoy the festivities, Tisseo adapts its services and extends its hours. Here’s what to remember.
No tram during the parade
During the day, tram lines T1 and T2 will be interrupted between stations courthouse and Arenas, from 13 hours. The last departures from the Palais de Justice will be at 1:36 p.m. direction MEETT (T1), and at 12:50 p.m. direction Airport (T2).
Subway, tram, and buses extended in the evening
In the evening, in order to allow Toulouse residents to enjoy the joys of summer, the public transport authority of the Toulouse conurbation has planned to extend hours of its different modes of transport.
The last departures of each terminus of the lines A and B metro will take place at 2:00 (against midnight in normal times on Thursdays, during school holidays).
Note, however, that on line A, the Esquirol station will close its doors to the public from 10:30 p.m.
The last evening departures are at 2h30 of Arenas towards MEET and to 1h40 from MEET to Arènes (T1), then from 11:29 p.m. Arenas towards Airport and 00:10 from Airport to Arènes (T2).
Finally, regarding the busthe lines L4, L7, L9, 14 and 44 will be diverted and the evening bus lines will be extended until 2 hours.
As for the TAD (Transport on demand): the line 106 and the TAD 119 will be extended until 2:30 a.m., the TAD 120 until 3:15 a.m.
