It is in an area close to the road asphyxiation that a new bus line will see the light of day. As of August 29, 2022, the Lineo 10 will enter service north of Toulouse.
Several municipalities served
A new line which should regularly unclog a sector plagued by traffic jams. The Linéo 10 will indeed join the Fenouillet shopping center and the station of Metro La Vacheon line B.
The line will pass through the municipalities of Fenouillet, Saint-Alban, Aucamville, Fonbeauzard and Toulouse. And will cross an economically dynamic area, generating many jobs and therefore many car journeys, especially along the road from Fronton to Aucamville.
“6,400 people enter the area every day to work, including 1,300 from Toulouse. In the opposite direction, 8,000 inhabitants of the area work outside the municipalities of northern Toulouse, including 4,500 who go to Toulouse”, details the Urban Planning and Development Agency of the agglomeration (AUAT).
New buses
During the week, this future Linéo will run from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. or 1 a.m. and until 1 a.m., on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with a frequency of 8 to 9 minutes in rush hour.
A little extra: the Linéo 10 line will be served by brand new articulated buses running on natural gas, equipped with USB sockets for charging phones.
The entire network redesigned
But beyond the Linéo 10, this is the entire Tisséo service which is reorganizing north of toulousefrom the start of the school year.
The lines 26,29 and 59 are extended. The lines 33, 60 and 69 are modified. A line 131 is created between Saint-Alban, Lespinasse and Bruguières as well as a line 132 between the Sept-deniers and the Pôle station, at the level of Ginestous.
Route simulation from August 19
Line 61 is deleted and deleted by lines 26, 29 and 60. Line 105 is deleted by lines 59 and 131.
Users could simulate their routes from August 19, 2022 on the site or the Tisséo app in order to better understand these many changes.
