Metro lines A and B in Toulouse are still at a standstill this morning. Tisséo announced that a recovery today, but the operator is currently no longer advancing a date or time.

“An electric arc that occurred on the track as a train passed just before the goose leg station (line A) was the cause of the incident and caused the release of smoke and the complete safety of the train. system”, indicated Tisseo in a press release last night. For the moment, the two lines have still not resumed service.

When will the circulation of lines A and B of the metro resume?
“The Tisséo team is currently working on the repair of the damaged installations which, however, requires heavy intervention at the level of the guide bar and the electrical harnesses”, underlines the public transport operator of the Toulouse conurbation.
Tisséo announced a reopening of lines A and B of the metro today. But the operator, contacted by the editorial staff, no longer wishes to advance either the date or the time for a resumption of traffic. A crisis meeting is underway at Tisséo.
The relay network set up opposite the metro stop in Toulouse
As a reminder, the operator has set up a relay network. Regular users of line A are invited to take line 14 which rests on Basso Cambo and Balma-Gramont. For line B, line B’ makes the connection between the Grand Rond and Borderouge. Line L6 is extended to the Université Paul Sabatier stop.

“Tisséo regrets the inconvenience caused by this event. All of the Tisséo Voyageurs teams are mobilized to restore the two lines as soon as possible,” assures the public transport operator.
