Letters for family members
“In April – her husband tells Repubblica – Laura understood that there was nothing more to be done before the doctors said it. She started writing letters for us, so as not to leave us alone. She pretended to walk, she went up to the olive tree and under the tree, then I discovered, she was shooting videos for me and Tommaso, for when she would be gone. You wrote a letter for when our son will go to sixth grade and to accompany him in the important days of his life “. On June 30th during her funeral Laura’s husband left the letter she left: “I am happy with the life I lived, I enjoyed it so much. Remember to fill Thomas’s gaps with magical words of love ”.
