The Andorra-Sierra de Arcos region launches a wide range of free summer visits
The Tourism Office of the Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Region offers this summer a series of free guided tours, some of them in a hiking format to get to know the territory in depth. The program, which starts on July 15, will last until August 28 with the intention that residents and visitors can “discover emblematic places and wonderful corners” of this region that is committed to nature and wellness tourism.
The offer includes a program of low-difficulty hiking trails to get to know, for example, La Tortuga de Gargallo, with a visit to the exhibition and a walk along a path with paleontological points of interest. It has a distance of 5 kilometers, round trip, and will be held on July 23 and 25; and August 8, 14 and 22.
One of the novelties this year is a tour of the mysterious Guadalopillo, in Ejulve, to see the high mill and the miller’s house, recently restored. It is a 7 kilometer excursion, round trip. It will take place on July 19, 26 and 30; and August 2, 9, 16, 21 and 23.
In Ariño, the walk (6 kilometers round trip) will take place along the path from the spa to the medieval tombs under the title Los secretos del Río Martín. The dates: July 20 and 27; and August 3, 10, 13, 17, 24 and 28.

Lastly, this active initiative of the Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Region offers The Disconnection Route, in Estercuel, an 8-kilometre route from the Olivar Monastery to the Moncoscol viewpoint that will take place on July 17 and 21; and August 4, 6, 15 and 18.
Another less active option, but more consolidated in the program for a few summers, is the Art, nature and water route, which runs through the Calvario de Alloza and the Parque Escultorico de los Barrancos, a magnificent walk dotted with various sculptural works.
Also traditional is El Frenesí de lo imposible, which recovers the majestic Cueva Foradada reservoir, in Oliete. It is complemented by the route Between portals and alleys, which visits the town of Oliete and the Sima de San Pedro on other dates.
Added to these visits is the one organized by the Andorra Culture and Tourism Board, which carries out a route through the town every Friday where you can see the church, the Plaza de San Blas or the Pilar hermitage. Lastly, in Crivillén it is proposed to travel to the childhood of the sculptor Pablo Serrano with a tour of the town centre, the threshing floors and the Pilate viewpoint.
Weekends and contests
