Another two days of “red sticker” in Naples due to the strong heat wave that is affecting the Neapolitan city. The system allows the prediction, surveillance and prevention of the effects of heat waves on the health of the population identified in 27 Italian cities and allows forecasting, for each specific urban area, the weather-climatic conditions that can have a significant impact on health. of vulnerable individuals.
Based on these models, daily bulletins are drawn up for each city, in which the possible effects on health of the forecasted weather conditions at 24, 48 and 72 hours are communicated.
In Naples there is level 3 alert, or the so-called “red dot”, for the days of Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 July. In the Campania capital, a perceived maximum temperature of 36 degrees is expected for the next two days.
As for Tuesday, in particular, the expected temperature is 27 degrees at 8.00 and 31 at 14.00.
