The hot balance is very positive. Wishes or aspects to improve for the editions editions?

«My satisfaction derives from the quality of the relationships that have been established, from the number of handshakes and hugs, from the depth of listening, from the opening of new horizons and many smiles of children and adults. Projects like ours do not end with the days of the Festival, they continue with art and photography exhibitions, training courses with children. The hope is that the institutions will pay attention to the ferments that focus on sustainability issues in the territory and cultivate them, promoting awareness and change “.

Both last year and this year the path of greenery and plants were the protagonists at the Festival …

“Stefano Mancuso, an internationally renowned plant neurobiologist, last year, and Francesco Ferrini, professor of arboriculture in Florence, this year revealed a lot about plants to inspire us: teamwork, the value of memory , the capacity for resilience. From the first year we try to create a physical dialogue between people and the plant kingdom, special occasions for man and nature to meet. We cannot fight for what we do not know ».

Was there participation on the part of the entrepreneurial fabric?

«Companies, in particular the large ones that profit in the area, must have the sensitivity to pass crumbs of their profits back into cultural services and activities, in order to grow the community and benefit from it themselves. Obviously I don’t think about the resources invested by the great patrons of the Renaissance, Montefeltro and Malatesta, on the beauty of our territory, but nothing is not acceptable. To deny what we just said last year, however, we were contacted by an important banking institution in the area, which has already been undertaking structured activities in the field of sustainability for some time and will be the main sponsor of the Montefeltro Green Festival, a great recognition for me and everything. the staff”.

«The Montefeltro Green Festival will be held in the upper Valmarecchia on 24 and 25 September and will have its center of gravity in Novafeltria, the original name of Mercatino Marecchia, in reference to the important weekly inter-municipal fairs that took place there. From the very first brick, the idea was that of a festival extended to a historical and highly cultural territory with an identity and an international level, beyond the sterile parochialisms that I still see winding around. Today, more than ever, we don’t win alone ».
