President of the European Parliament comes to Portugal
The President of the European Parliament, the Maltese Roberta Metsola, will travel to Portugal on the 1st and 2nd of September, a country with which she maintains “close relations”.
According to a source in the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola’s visit “is being prepared with a desired programwith meetings with various sovereign bodies, with actions outside the box”.
The Displacement Announcement was made during one of the training sessions that the European Parliament began to promote the Portuguese and which was mentioned with the situation in Ukraine the Russian invasion, which began on February 24th.
The purpose of the meeting is for Portuguese journalists on the actions that the European Parliament and MEPs have been developing in a wide range of dimensions of the Ukrainian crisis, namely, economy, diplomacy, energy, agriculture, disinformation or price increases within the European Union (EU).
The meeting, which ends on Wednesday, aims to make known, among other aspects, how measures that the European Parliament is anticipating to alleviate the impact of Conflict in EU Businesses and Citizens.
