Nuits-Saint-Georges. A fire started in an SNCF freight locomotive, rail traffic between Dijon and Chalon-sur-Saône disrupted

Tuesday, around 3 p.m., a fire started on a diesel locomotive of a freight train in Nuits-Saint-Georges, at the level of the Saint Bernard bridge in the north of the city. The train was on a technical track.

Returning to the station, the locomotive was examined as a preventive measure by the firefighters deployed for the occasion, but the fire had already been brought under control with the means on board.
