SLOVAKIA

You can go to local attractions by summer trains

Sugar Mizzy July 4, 2022

Extraordinary summer trains of the Slovak Railway Company, as (ZSSK) already run on all ten selected regional lines.

From the first weekend of July, they started running for domestic tourist attractions on the remaining seven routes as well. During the entire summer season, it is supposed to transport passengers to various locations in Slovakia according to the schedule of 43 train connections.

Summer trains

After Stara Ľubovna, Štúrov and Zemplín, they can travel by railway to, for example, the sought-after Banská Štiavnica, Bardejov, Banská Bystrica or places in Gemer and near Slovakia.

National passenger transport is operating summer trains for the third time, based on an agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic, with the national organization for the promotion and support of tourism Slovakia Travel and with self-governing regions.

They were based on the experience of the changed years, when, according to the schedule, they especially liked Banská Štiavnica or Stara Ľubovna, we informed.

“Slovaks rediscovered Slovakia last year and traveled around it. From supporting summer trains, we promise to attract tourists to various domestic destinations. We set up the itineraries in such a way that vacationers have enough time to stay at the swimming pool, go on a bike trip, cruise on the Danube or others,” which is the region in question. said Slovakia Travel CEO Václav Mika.

“Slovakia is an attractive country that is not far from Europe at any time and offers extraordinary experiences without having to travel to an exotic country,” next Mika.
