Presence number two in the Italian Rally Land Championship for the driver from Vimercate, eager to grind kilometers and gain experience in the shadow of Monte Titano.

Ranica (BG), 04 July 2022 – There is an air of youth at Rally Sport Evolution, in view of a San Marino Rally which, at the weekend, will also see Filippo Peduzzi at the start.
The driver from Vimercate, in his fourth race ever as well as his second in the 2022 Italian Rally Land Championship, will restart from the San Marino republic with a great desire to cancel a debut, the one held in the previous Adriatic, which ended badly.

“Our debut in the tricolor terra was not the best” – says Peduzzi – “but, if we exclude the epilogue with the exit from the road, I would say that the times we scored, we were eighth before the error, are not worthy of consider then so evil. I have three races under my belt, I always ran with different cars from each other, so I have to give myself some time and learn and grow.

From Lombardy to the San Marino dirt roads where not only will there be a Peugeot 208 Rally 4, made available by the Ranica racing team, but also the experience of a navigator of the caliber of Massimo Bizzocchi, able to trace the straight path to Peduzzi .

“The desire is to improve” – Peduzzi – “and, to try to speed up the learning process, we decided to have Massimo Bizzocchi by my side. He is a navigator of an incredible experience and, in addition to this, he is also from San Marino so we can say that he will have a very important role this weekend. On the technical front we will be at the start again with a Peugeot 208 Rally 4 of Rally Sport Evolution, which I particularly liked, already in the Adriatic, and with which I hope to increase the feeling more and more. “

With no points from a CIRT point of view, by virtue of the zero in the Marche region, Peduzzi’s ambitions will all be aimed at completing the nine special stages and the almost seventy-four timed kilometers that will be presented to the competitors on Saturday 9 July alone.
A first passage on the short “Terra di San Marino” (5.00 km) and then moving on to the “Macerata Feltria” (7.47 km) and on the “Belforte all’Isauro” (12.01 km), completing the first section with the repetition of the opening test and then continuing in the early afternoon.
The central phase of the day will focus on the return to “Macerata Feltria” and “Belforte all’Isauro”, then closing with a new round on two and archiving the practice with a third lap on the “Land of San Marino”, facing almost three hundred and sixty-five total kilometers.

“It will be my first time in San Marino” – concludes Peduzzi – “and you will often hear this phrase this year, as they are all new races for me. The route, from what I have been able to see, seems to me very beautiful and technical. I have no expectations for this race, as regards the ranking, because the goal is to do kilometers and finish the rally, trying to gain experience.
