Russia will remove anti-covid border crossings from July 15
Since July 15, in Russia, all restrictions on crossing the land border, which entered into force in March 2020 due to the spread of coronavirus infection, have been eliminated.
Since July 15, Russia has been lifting all border crossing restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He announced this at the operational headquarters, TASS reports. The necessary restrictions were introduced in March 2020.
In addition, the operational headquarters informed that the requirement to obtain the results of PCR tests for cases of illness upon arrival in the Russian Federation for Belarusians is cancelled. The existing mutual borders on both countries were canceled back in March.
We remind you that from June 14, the Russian authorities lifted restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation for foreign citizens arriving in countries with aviation or by sea, however, restrictions on crossing borders to terrestrial territories remained.
At the beginning of recent months, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova the signing of a document canceling measures to spread the coronavirus infection includes the mandatory wearing of masks and a ban on catering at work at night. The corresponding decree came into effect on July 2. According to the department, this decision was made at a stable level of incidence of COVID-19 for four months. At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor necessarily foresees the occurrence of cases of worsening of the epidemiological situation.
Later, the press service considered issues related to restrictions on leaving Russia through the land procedure, they were asked to “report additionally if such decisions are applied.”
It was also decided to maintain increased caution and a mask regime in the Kremlin.
