Omega – Small is pretty – Style & Trend
Omega is one of those watch brands that is almost impossible to categorize. Obviously, there is its indisputable link with space travel, the mythical aura of the Speedmaster Moonwatch. But we shouldn’t define Omega only as an adventure watch brand: what about the Constellation, typical of a culture and an era with its emblematic “My Choice” campaign? And beyond the realm of fashion and style, what about the glamor on the red carpet and the mesmerizing appeal of James Bond movies? Or inspiring stories of the human athletic endeavors represented by the partnership with the Olympics? The multiple aspects of a brand like Omega go beyond a simple collection or a watch, they symbolize all facets of our way of life in an authentic way, granting exceptional moments and connecting us to others.

Omega’s De Ville collection is the part of the brand that comes closest to the prestigious aspect of fine watchmaking. The Master Chronometer-certified central tourbillon, for example, can be found in the De Ville collection. As everyone knows, the Omega coaxial escapement made its first appearance in a De Ville watch. The Ladymatic, which includes Omega’s only fine jewelry pieces, has been known for a high performance automatic movement despite its modest dimensions since 1955 and it is also part of the De Ville collection.
Now, the Mini Trésor joins the De Ville family, a sub-collection of existing Trésor watches that enhances classic elegance. With its 26 mm diameter case, the Mini Trésor is undeniably intended for the smallest wrists. Yet its characteristics, from the grand feu enamel dial to the bracelets inspired by the Toile de Jouy, will find followers among all those who appreciate techniques and artisanal associations.

For those unaware, Toile de Jouy is a type of printed fabric, originally popular in Britain and France in the mid to late 18th century, most often depicting monochrome pastoral scenes against a background. clear. Drawing inspiration from historical fabric patterns, Omega has created three distinctive designs, each associated with an essential element of the brand’s identity.

One of the bracelets has patterns in red, another is decorated with corals and sea creatures in blue, while the third is made in dark gray with a butterfly print. Each bracelet is paired with a case in Moonshine Gold, an Omega-patented 18-karat yellow gold alloy, with indexes in a shade to match the print on the bracelet.
For a more designer and more contemporary look, the watches are also available in stainless steel, with double wrap Toile de Jouy straps.
