Near Toulouse. These three friends realize their dream with the opening of their small business

Far from being overwhelmed by the raindrops last week, Sullivan, Thibaut and Michaelthree friends from Toulouse did not lack self-sacrifice to bring the final touches that enabled them to achieve their dream, friday 1uh July 2022with the opening of their small business a Rocketsclose to Toulouse.

“We meet around this project”
Colleagues for several years at Wallace Cafe, the three men imagined this project ten years ago without having had the opportunity to make it happen. “We have all taken different paths,” explains Sullivan Rambaud, 33. It was our dream to meet around a project of this type, an extra guinguette. »
It was after the health crisis that the three thirty-somethings moved up a gear. Not without difficulty at first. “We were looking to do this on the land of an individual, but we ended up having discussions with the town hall of Roquettes which was looking for a project of this type”, continues the Toulousain.
In the city center
Excited by the idea of setting up on the outskirts of Toulouse, the trio worked for almost 18 months to realize their ambitions. “There hasn’t been a facility like this in the city for many years,” Sullivan said. This will allow us to offer a real place of life for all the inhabitants. »
Located on the banks of the Garonne, a few hundred meters from the Roques shopping center, the guinguette could become one of the essentials of the summer.
“People pass by during the works, they wonder… People seem delighted to see us hard at work for a few weeks, I hope they will like the space! »
Within a gigantic park
Petanque, Mölkky, outdoor cinema… The team has thought of everything to make Rocket a friendly and nonetheless unique space within a gigantic park.
100m2 of land will be used by the trio, which for the occasion approached two chefs who had worked for the Four Seasons in Megève (Haute-Savoie). Two other friends who had great liberties to make a card inspired by “the tour of the market”. “The idea, for them, was really to have fun,” adds Sullivan Rambaud between two last brush strokes.
Once the raindrops have cleared, the trio will be able to embark on this new adventure which will have waited a few months… before starting.
