Istanbul’s 120 past becomes a ‘museum’

FROM ECZANE-İ SAADET TO NEW FASHION

“The pharmacy was first started by Faik İskender Bey under the name of Pharmacy-i Saadet. The two early plans for the Restriction Law Needed Kızıltoprak, which came out in 19, were to show to Moda and its name was changed to ‘Moda Pharmacy’. In 1936, in Faik Kızıltoprak. İskender Bey When he passed away, Moda Pharmacy was sold and my father bought this pharmacy.My father, Halil Nejat Sezer, acquired Istanbul University in 1925. My father’s first pharmacy was opened by Yeni Pharmacy in his hometown, Birecik town of Urfa, in Konya Karaman in 1935, ‘The pharmacy was opened in the new year. ‘. When they bought the pharmacy in Moda in 1937, it was included in their name and the New Moda Pharmacy was started. My father passed away for 44 years. I don’t start to manage the pharmacy since 1950. This pharmacy has been started from our family since 1937.”
“PHARMACY IS NOT TRADE, IT IS ART”
Expressing in his interview that pharmacy is not a trade but an art, Sezer said, It was made in pharmacies after 1950. There will be medicine syrups, strength syrups, from ancient times. We produce people they can raise, even if they are few, we do what we can bring what they bring. He emphasized his profession by showing his words.
“Would they put this shop into a museum AFTER I DIE, MY FAMILY DECIDES”
