Innoprom launched in Yekaterinburg: what surprised Mishustin? | Russia
On Monday, June 4, the long-awaited Innoprom, an event of federal scale, started in Yekaterinburg. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who himself took part in one of the serious sessions, became the main guest of the industrial exhibition. What surprised the prime minister and what happened to businessmen and ministers? Details – in the report “FederalPress”.
What did Mishustin talk about at Innoprom
It seems that the entire federal center has collapsed in Yekaterinburg. At Innoprom there are ministers, businessmen, heads of subjects, experts. Everything is serious here – the future of the country is being forged, ambitious plans are being set, tasks are being presented. The strategic session “Industrial transition: the experience of leaders” became the core. On it, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin allegedly officially opened the event, saying that representatives of more than 500 Russian and international companies took part in the meeting. “This is more than last year. We have many friends in the world, we appreciate and respect everyone. And the fact that they have now gathered together on this platform, personally: Russia cannot be isolated. We inextricably cover with the whole world”Mishustin said. And got a storm of applause.
Sanctions barriers and prohibitions are changing The existing order, says Mishustin. “Still temporary since the first industrial revolution, it has grown as a universal economy, relying on the power manufacturing industry, but in the current conditions this is no longer enough. Special competencies, capabilities and technologies are needed. This is not an easy, but feasible problem for Russia.”– said the prime minister.
The head of adoption acknowledged that there is “a definite downturn in the near future”, but nowhere did the economy approach the breaking point. On the contrary, according to his observation, an increase in growth in electronics, pharmaceuticals, and many other groups, and in general, over the five months of 2022, the volume of industrial production in the country grew by almost 3% in annual terms. In addition, Mikhail Mishustin was “in a good way surprised” by the number of promising projects on a wide variety of scales, including in transport engineering, metallurgy, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
An important reason for the occurrence of the situation “The government has allocated 120 billion rubles to subsequently backbone enterprises with cheap borrowed resources. For additional capitalization of the industrial development fund in the amount of 50 billion rubles. Compliance with components is also supported through the launch of a reverse engineering mechanism – more than 2 billion rubles were provided for these purposes in the desired year.Mishustin listed.
How electronics and industrial mortgages will be transported
A separate cabinet mentioned several departments. Naturally, aircraft industry has become part of their routine, where today Russia is more attracted “rates of foreign francs on domestic components”. Similar processes are taking place in the automotive industry, where there is a deep localization of production across the entire line of manufactured cars.
“The pandemic has shown how important it is to have a self-sustaining pharmaceutical industry. Now it is obvious to everyone that this is strategic security, ensuring the security of the country. We coped with the production of vaccines and drugs, but part of these successes are based on imported components.”Mishustin noted.
The prime minister stayed the longest in the radio-electronic industry, the development strategy of which was reformatted. One of the main goals was to increase the share of domestic components in the market by 2030, from the current 12% to 70%. In general, there will be about 500 different initiatives, and the government will “check all reference points quarterly.”
Mishustin could not but mention the industrial mortgage. “We will issue loans at a rate of 5% for the purchase of ready-made production sites, which will eliminate infrastructure constraints and solve the possibility for the rapid implementation of fast-growing projects. Work on the programmatic industrial mortgage is being completed and will be launched within the next few months”, – confirmed the prime minister’s previous statements.
Also, the authorities intend to revive engineering, which in Russia was “traditionally strong.” A total of 30 universities were included in the program.
Who are our politicians targeting?
Speaking after the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov kept within four minutes, telling the news about the game between the projects of the two countries. “Today, the enterprises of Kazakhstan and Russia are already fully prepared for the implementation of technological projects. In connection with the specially noted signing of a new program of participation in the program, which involves cooperation on 23 more projects in 7 industrial sectors, which is being carried out today”, Smiley said.
After this speech, there was a short pause: it was necessary to hand over the wave “Industry”. The Russian company Geoscan, a developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, won the competition. After presenting the prize, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, began by offering to consider textbook examples of results from the analysis of other countries and their development from the point of view of technological sovereignty. He once called Roosevelt’s famous program, “when messages were posted that were not banned in the US”, with its disappearance by infrastructure projects. Further, Manturov remembered the “Asian tigers” – South Korea with its chaebols and Japan, which have lost an impressive technological breakthrough. Of course, China was in this row.
“[Китайские] colleagues are required to be well-formed and constantly developing industrial activities of Western countries. You don’t have to be ashamed of this. When you have learned how to form, have increased your qualifications, you are already starting to create your own solutions, you can develop a complex technological qualification in a new direction., – Manturov said, as if following the direction of the entrepreneurs who had gathered in the zalechi. According to the minister, each case can be waived from what is applicable to Russian business in the framework of import substitution.
Russia has already passed the first stage of import substitution – this is the development, creation and production of finished samples of industrial products. “Today we face a new challenge: we must pay special attention to the study of production issues, the possibility of development in the field of raw materials, where we use demand. But we should not have a completely, 100% infected or imported product in the country,” Manturov made a reservation.
Speaking about the auto industry, the minister said that Russia is not going to wait indefinitely until the headquarters of “our partners” decide whether they will leave our market or stay. “We mean that from our friendly countries there are already developed plans, there are teams of partners who are ready to come in different formats – or provide technology for the production of their cars. At the same time, the following progressive manifestations and full competence are especially important for us, The minister’s message was clear.
The strategic session with the participation of the heads of the companies who came to the exhibition has ended. And Evgeny Kaspersky, a developer of productive computer protection systems, promised to show “a bomb, a small pocket bomb” at the next Innoprom. True, it is not completely clear what exactly was discussed.
