Grizzlys extends cooperation with Hanover
Steven Raabe receives another production license
The Grizzlys Wolfsburg have extended the cooperation with the ambitious upper division and ice hockey neighbors Hannover Scorpions. As part of this, some players will be granted a funding license, including Grizzly homegrown Steven Raabe.
The partnership was already actively and intensively lived in the past 2021-2022 season. One of the main goals is still scouting and developing young, talented players as well as close exchange on a sporting level.
What is certain is that Grizzly youngster Steven Raabe, who played several times for the Hannover Scorpions last season, WILL be given a promotion license. The clubs will exchange information about further funding licenses in the coming weeks.
The two managing directors Eric Haselbacher (Hannover Scorpions) and Karl-Heinz Fliegauf (Grizzlys Wolfsburg) unanimously declare: “In very constructive discussions we quickly agreed on the continuation of our cooperation. Both parties should jointly benefit from the cooperation. In the coming weeks, we will discuss further potential synergy effects and work out a joint concept for the promotion and development of young players.”
