Free admission to the House of Austrian History in summer
Special offer of the hdgö: Every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the visit is on the house.
In the summer months of July and August, fans of contemporary history can look forward to a special offer: With free admission, they can visit the main exhibition “New Times: Austria since 1918” and also the special exhibition “Dispose of Hitler”.
Anyone who is also curious about in-depth insights can take advantage of one of the weekly changing themed tours at 6 p.m.
Free cultural experience
“We will open our doors even further in the summer and invite everyone who is interested to a cultural experience,” explains Monika Sommer, director of the hdgö. “Our main exhibition provides diverse insights into the most important political, social, cultural and economic developments of the last century. Summer is a perfect opportunity to maybe even visit them and keep discovering new aspects.”
