Drug dealer issued: cannabis, money, luxury clothing, and two televisions found in house search | Brussels
BrusselsDuring a security patrol in the Verbist district in Brussels, two police officers from the Brussels North police zone intercepted a street drug dealer. Both the suspect and the district are known for selling narcotics. The PolBruGeen zone regularly patrols the neighborhood with complaints from local residents.
On July 3, the police revealed a suspicious man in the neighborhood. He behaved nervously at the sight of two police officers from the BTA (specialized assistance unit). Based on his attitude, the police officers decided to check him and during the search they discover that the man was in possession of 26 bags of cannabis and 65 euros.
It was eventually decided to conduct a search of his residence in Ixelles. To be placed by the police, more than 350 grams of cannabis, 1,105 euros in cash, two precision scales and luxury clothing, two products that were still in the cardboard.
The suspect was deprived of his liberty and brought before the investigating judge. He was charged with illegal possession and sale of narcotics and deficiencies as part of a telephone investigation, and was placed on maintenance warrant on July 3, 2022.
