1 hour from Toulouse, this lake located at the foot of the Pyrenees is now open for swimming

Many lakes had, during June, opened their doors to bathers, in Haute-Garonne. Others waited until the beginning of the seventh month to start. This is the case for the basis of Montrejeau, just over an hour from Toulouse, and accessible from Monday July 4, 2022.
Open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Swimming was, until then, not authorized, in the absence of surveillance in this lake. But to count of this July 4, 12 p.m.nothing prevents new (or future) holidaymakers from going for a dip in Lake Montréjeau. Daily, from 12 hours to 7 p.m., and until September 4, 2022, this space located at the gates of the Hautes-Pyrénées and facing the mountains, will be open for swimming. He has moreover has obtained the Blue Flag label This year.
Beach volleyball, trail, playground…
This lake, which extends over 30 hectares, offers many activities. Beyond the tables and barbecues made available, visitors could find a playground for children, appliances aptitude, a land of Beach volleyball, but also an educational trail tag.
Other activities, this time paying, will also be on display this summer, such as the Comminges Aquapark, pedal boat rides, paddles, kayaks, bouncy castles, and lots of other surprises to discover on the spot. UN bar Restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees, open all year round, is finally in the game.
Already many lakes open in Haute-Garonne
Since mid-June, many lakes have made swimming accessible. The Lauragais has shown the way, with the lake of Thésauque, that of Orme Blanc or even Saint Ferréol. Lac des Bonnets, in Muret, opened on June 18, while that of Braguessou, in Saint-Jory, followed suit on July 2. Near Toulouse, Lac de la Ramée should allow swimming from Saturday July 9.
