Belarusian and Russian schoolchildren, participants of the “Train of Memory” project, carried out a reconstruction of hostilities on the “Stalin Line” and planted an alley of symbolic 78 thujas in honor of the 78th anniversary of the return of Belarus, BelTA has learned.
As they admitted, the guys will remember this project forever. At the same time, communication between schoolchildren occurs, because during the investigation of the “Memory Train” the guys not only became friends, but among the many participants in the action, topics are presented.
A student of one of the Moscow schools, Anna Kochetkova, a participant in the “Trip of Memory” project, noted that the trip is an incredible experience. We met guys from the state. our projects, two of which are already ready and agreed to enter the international level,” she added.
Anna Kochetkova said that both in Belarusian and Russian cities, the participants of the “Trip of Memory” met very warmly. It is significant that it is on the Independence Day of Belarus that we gather in the future. Young people should do everything to prevent this from happening again,” she admits.
Yevgeny Burda, a student of the Malorita district gymnasium and a participant in the “Trip of Memory”, said that this project gave everyone a lot of impressions, met veterans of places where terrible events that cannot be erased from memory are studied during the Great Patriotic War. That is why Belarusian schoolchildren are proud that the Independence Day of the state was the date of the liberation of Minsk from the Nazis.
July 3 is the real date of the independence of Belarus, no matter what anyone says. we live thanks to July 3, thanks to the fact that such a day – the day of the liberation of Minsk – was in the history of our country,” said Yevhen Burda.
According to the student, sovereign Belarus is what surrounds every Belarusian every day. “We have our own flag, coat of arms, anthem and culture.
The project “Train of Memory” is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the Year of Memory Transfer in Belarus. The patriotic action was initiated by Natalya Kochanova, Chairman of the Council of the Republic, and Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council. The train on June 22 started in Brest and the trip on July 3 in Minsk.-0-
