Season 2 for Night Flight! The associative guinguette of Montaudran, at the foot of student resident Kley, has reopened its doors with the same spirit of simplicity and conviviality. A “friends project” for a “traditional guinguette”, in the words of Pierre Lafon, one of the seven members of the Acocolit association which manages the guinguette.
New scene, barbecue loan…
In a sector still under construction, but not far from big companies like Cnes, Airbus and the B612 (which house the IRT Saint-Exupéry, Aerospace Valley…), Vol de Nuit has developed for its second season in Toulouse.
“This year, we have integrated a real stage, of 28 m2, fitted out a separate kitchen, extended the premises by an additional 200 m2 and expanded our menu, especially in the area of heat. We have also refurbished the pétanque court and a small decorative garden”.
The menu offers simple but local things that speak to everyone, such as bowls of Toulouse sausages and roasted camembert, but also homemade croque-monsieur and local beer, BBT, brewed in Cornebarrieu (Haute-Garonne), west of Toulouse.
The barbecue is out and the members of Acocolit had the (good) idea of offering their summer tool specializing in embers for hire. “For students who live in studios or people who live in apartments, we offer the rental of our barbecue for the day, and we make our facilities available for three euros”, continues Pierre Lafon.
Concerts, electro evenings, stand up…
Vol de Nuit is also the possibility for companies and groups to organize on-site afterworks or any type of event. “For example, organized a mölkky tournament or hosted a hundred people for the Toulouse law school’s end-of-year party! “laughs Pierre Lafon.
There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the summer with a very eclectic offer between rock concerts, rap, soul, rock, but also electro evenings, DJ sets, stand up with the Comedy club…
