The new hybrid Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe has just arrived on the Greek market. Equipped with Plug-in Hybrid Jeep 4xe system, the 5th generation of the American SUV is the most environmentally friendly Grand Cherokee ever built.

The fact that the new model is available in Europe exclusively as a hybrid is part of the brand’s strategy that aims until all of its sales in the Old Continent consist exclusively of electrified models.

The new Grand Cherokee stands out from the impressive exterior with the brand’s classic features, such as the grille with seven vertical grilles, combined with advanced technology solutions such as full-LED technology lights.

With a length of 4.91 m, a width of 1.96 m (with the mirrors folded), a height of 1.8 m and a wheelbase of 2.96 m, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe offers ample spaces for five passengers and their luggage. The numerous storage points in the cabin are completed by luggage compartmentwho surpasses the 1,000 liters with the rear seats in their normal position, while doubling when they are folded down.

There are on the board three large screens: a 10.1-inch one for the digital instrument panel, another 10.1-inch touchscreen for the multimedia system and another 10.25-inch touchscreen that, for the first time in the segment, is in front of the front passenger. Elements such as heated, ventilated and massaged seats as well as ambient lighting that can be adjusted in terms of intensity and color complete it luxury image of the new Grand Cherokee.

The 4xe hybrid technology (PHEV) offers the large SUV the ability to drive purely electrically (also in 4×4 option) for up to 50 km, but also combined range of up to 700 km. The system combines a 2-liter Turbo gasoline engine, two electric motors, a 400V battery pack and 8-speed automatic transmission. The overall performance is 380 hp and 637 Nm of torque.

The new Grand Cherokee 4xe is also the most capable 4×4 in the model’s history. Also available is the Trailhawk 4xe version, which passed the legendary tests of the Rubicon Trail even with full electric power.

Depending on the version, available are the four-wheel drive systems Quadra Trac II and Quadra Drive II, while the great power and advanced four-wheel drive system, in the new Grand Cherokee 4xe to have an impressive towing capacity of up to 2,300 kg.

The new architecture on which it is based, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe enables a wide range comfort and safety systems which surpasses the 110 items. These include the exclusive Quadra-Lift air suspension system with active damping, as well as a range of advanced assistance systems (ADAS) that also enable level 2 autonomous driving, such as collision avoidance and night vision systems.

• Limited 4x with price €92,500.
• Trailhawk 4xe for ultimate off-road capability, at a price €97,500.
• Overland 4xe with an emphasis on luxury, with a price €100,000.
• Summit Reserve 4xe which combines the ultimate level of comfort and equipment with movement even on the most difficult routes, at a price €109,000.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee is covered by factory warranty valid for 4 years and up to 160.00 km and equivalent length of service roadside assistancewhile thanks to the Plug-in Hybrid system 4xe all its versions are exempted from the deposit traffic fees and they circulate no restrictions on the Ring.
