The demonstration team of the world taekwondo arrives in Bulgaria
The World Taekwondo demonstration team is preparing a great show during the opening ceremony of the two world championships, which are coming up in Bulgaria on August 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the “Arena Armeets” hall in Sofia, the Bulgarian Taekwondo Federation announced . The ceremony is expected to be held in the presence of President Rumen Radev, national and international sports stars and dignitaries, state authorities, as well as the elite of world Olympic sports.
On August 3, the residents and guests of the city of Plovdiv will also have a unique chance to touch the magic of the exact martial art and enjoy the incredible performances of the star demonstration team in the Ancient Theater.
The occasion is the historic two world championships in Taekwondo, which will be held in Sofia. For the first time, two World Cups will be held at the same venue in one year. From July 28 to August 7, Sofia will organize the most important and long-awaited taekwondo tournaments in the world – the World Championship for Cadets, the World Championship for Juniors and Girls and the largest world forum in Taekwondo – the General Assembly of World Taekwondo on August 1. Over 3,000 competitors will compete in the two races. Tickets are sold on the website and at Eventim ticket offices.
The World Taekwondo Team is made up of professional Taekwondo competitors who made the American audience laugh and with a “golden button” became finalists in the American format of the Got Talent reality show. The team is made up of those selected from the competition of millions of athletes in South Korea, where taekwondo is a national sport and a historical heritage.
The World Taekwondo Federation Demonstration Team travels around the world and amazes spectators with a unique performance, and its program is complete for years to come.
