Start of the second part!
Portugal goes to rest at an advantage, but, strictly speaking… you know little. All because the team of the initial machines was clear during the first 20 minutes, during the first half, controlling the impetus that the Spanish team threatened, but, and above all, because, from then on, it started to play (much) more half – Offensive, creating various situations to score.
Sílvia’s inspiration, Sílvia Española de Minutos, was also the first one, by Ana da Baliza Português, which, in all fairness, would end up appearing at 12: quick transition, numerical advantage (3×2), pass from Azevedo to, with a national number 5 to captain for the first of the afternoon in Gondomar.
After that… more of the same. Portugal always the most beautiful plays of attack, attack, but at the next levels. Until, in the 19th minute, and following a throw-in by Cátia Morgado, Janice Silva provided a precious assist for Pisko to shoot the ball in for the 2-0.
It was thought that the break would arrive without further changes in the score, but Spain did not want to be part of that film and 27 seconds from rest they equalized, with a great goal from Ale de Paz, from the middle of the street.
The slack shown by the Lusitanian team deserved an advantage, but, keeping this tune, Portugal has everything to maintain the level presented so far and, for the first time in history, win the European Women’s Futsal Championship. The public that fills the Multipurpose Pavilion of Gondomar has been what was asked for: the sixth player. What a fantastic support to Luís Conceição’s team!
Break! Portugal 2 Spain 1.
20 minutes: Spain scores! Shot from the middle of Ale de Paz street with no chance of defense for Ana Catarina. 2-1.

16 minutes: Third foul committed by Portugal.
13 minutes: María Sanz shot for a great save by Ana Catarina. The national goalkeeper authentically tied the tie to Spain.
12 minutes: Second foul committed by Portugal.
12 minutes: Goal by Portugal! Quick transition from the corners, passed by the side of Ana Azevedo to Fifó who, intelligently, returned to the captain for the first Gondomar afternoon. 1-0.
11: Assisted by Pisko and Ana Azevedo, isolated, finishes for the most beautiful intervention by Sílvia.
11 minutes: Fourth foul committed by Spain.
9 minutes: Technical break requested by Cláudia Pons, Spain coach.
9 minutes: First foul committed by Portugal.
8 minutes: A monumental mistake by Peque and Ana Azevedo, already in the area, shot for a great save by Sílvia.
8 minutes: Long pass by Ana Catarina and Ana Azevedo, in a duel with Sílvia, the Spanish goalkeeper, lands in the area. There were protests, both on the court and in many stands, but the refereeing duo understood that there was no reason to mark the penalty and ordered them to continue.
First minutes marked by balance. The two goalkeepers have been mere spectators, as the game has mostly taken place in the midfield area. Portugal are in favor of the fact that they already have their benefit of missing three fouls, which could still put extra pressure on Spanish players from 14 minutes to play until half-time.
5 minutes: Yellow card to Irene Córdoba.
5 minutes: Third foul committed by Spain.
5 minutes: Second foul committed by Spain.
2 minutes: First foul committed by Spain.
2 minutes: Shot by Ana Luján, in the form of Ana Catarina.
