The national team rugby seven finished this Sunday in sixth place in the Europe Championship 2022, after being classified in the fourth stage of Krakow, second and last of the main European level of the sport.
With the fourth place obtained in Poland and the sixth position achieved in Lisbon, a week ago, the Wolves totaled 24 points, 14 less than Spain, which became European champions, winning the last one.
In Krakow, Portugal was eliminated in the semi-finals, after losing to France 26-14, and lost the bronze final to Germany 24-14.
The Wolves had a guaranteed presence in the semi-finals by winning Group B, despite a desire with Lithuania (27-7), thanks to triumphs over Italy (22-19), Poland (24-5) and Spain (26) -19).
