Toulouse’s support for Kyiv is unwavering. Since the start of the war in ukraine, the community has set up many initiatives such as fundraising or accommodation proposals to help the Slavic people. “€300,000 in grants have also been awarded for humanitarian emergencies”, recalls the community in a press release.

Donation of 4 utility vehicles

A third part ofaid for Ukrainians relates to the cooperation which contributes to the restoration of the “logistical service of the country”. According to the city of Toulouse, Kyiv is part of a lack of equipment, particularly commercial vehicles. Toulouse Métropole will do so donation of four vehicles to Kyiv. These are “three light commercial vehicles and a van”, explains Toulouse Métropole.

This proposal was adopted at the last Metropolitan Council. A deliberation is also on the agenda at municipal Council from July 1. “It concerns the additional donation of a removable dump truck, property of the town hall of Toulouse, to the city of Kyiv”, underlines the community. The Toulouse mobilization is therefore more present than ever.
