Russian warship: Transportation to Drohobych
The legendary painting “Russian warship, go…” was sold at a charity auction using the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Vesely Family Charitable Foundation posted an illustration cherished for Ukrainians for $18,000.
“It’s nice to be part of the elite of Ukrainian wartime art. Especially when the funds from the purchase will be used to bring the meeting of the entire Russian army closer to the famous ships, ”says Andrey Vesely, the fund’s fund.
The auction became part of a charity grocery store held on June 30 in Lviv as part of the 1000 Freedom Cars project. For the proceeds from the sale of all lots, cars are purchased for the military defending Ukraine from Russia.
In addition to paintings by the Crimean artist Boris Grokh, the Vesely Family Foundation purchased at an auction a stamp created based on this painting. The purchase came to the charity piggy bank UAH 128 thousand. Thus, thanks to the charity auction, the organizers of the event raised more than UAH 356,000 and $18,000.
Now the famous painting and an outstanding personality with a revolutionary warship will move to Drohobych. The Vesely Family Charitable Foundation promises to make exhibits freely available so that Drohobych residents and guests of the city can see works that raise Ukrainian fighting spirit in the conditions of war.
BO “Vesely Family Charitable Foundation” was created by Andrey Vesely in 2013 for social projects. In particular, to help the dead military personnel and family defenders.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the Foundation has created a logistics hub in Drohobych, has been providing humanitarian assistance to displaced persons, material assistance to military units, transferring personal protective equipment and transporting it to the front line.
