Russia accelerates integration with Belarus, EU flag in Verkhovna Rada
The number of victims of a rocket attack on a resort village near Odessa has risen to two people. Among the dead was an 11-year-old boy. Moscow denies involvement in attacks on civilian targets. The Russian authorities are appointing an election campaign to discredit the country. And they promise in response to the growing sanctions acceleration of integration processes in Belarus, in order to call together the “collective West”. In Ukraine, officially announced the beginning of the path to implementation in the device.
A Ukrainian missile attack on the village of Sergeevka in the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district, located near Odessa, claimed the lives of two nearby civilians. Missiles fired, according to the Ukrainian authorities, by Tu-22 military bombers, hit a nine-story building and a recreation center. Kyiv notes that the missiles used during the night strikes on the Odessa region were of the same type as those used in Kremenchug. The shells were identified as Kh-22 (Kh-22), a cruise missile developed in the 1960s. Military analysts show that consumption in Moscow consumes a large number of weapons.
The shortage of precision-guided weapons in the Russian army, according to experts, was discovered by Western sanctions, as supplies of components for the production of modern missiles were discovered. However, the Kremlin denied involvement in the meeting of their civilians. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov shows that Russia does not strike civilian targets:
“I want to remind you once again the words of the President and the Command in Chief of the Russian Federation that the armed forces of the Russian Federation, in the course of the development of an eventful operation, do not work on civilian associations and civilian infrastructure.”
The Ukrainian authorities in their response show that there were no historical statistics on the territory subjected to shelling. Up to 160 people lived in the nine-story building. This is the second blow to the Odessa region in less than a day. On June 30, there was also an unexpected missile attack. At that time, there were no casualties. Some associate the shelling of the Odessa region with the withdrawal of the Russian branch from the Zmeiny Islands due to massive artillery strikes from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Moscow, for its part, emphasizes that the troops are leaving the island “as a gesture of goodwill.” The desired request in response to the destructive check of the West increases the integration processes with Belarus. This was stated by Russia during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum Vladimir Putin:
“The unprecedented political and sanctions pressure from the so-called collective collective of the West is pushing us to expand the scope of the processes. After all, the report simplifies the turnover from the acceptance of illegal working capital, easily masters the demanded output, develops new skills and expands cooperation with the united countries.”
Ukraine is moving away from Russia further and further. Since July 1, a visa regime has been introduced for citizens of the Russian Federation. Now, in order to enter Ukrainian territory, Russians will need to obtain permission, and it will be quite difficult to do so. In connection with the inevitability of a mandatory invitation from the Ukrainian side, also a visa of a person without human potential, included in the sanctions lists, and those whom Ukraine defines as its national security, including those who publicly supported the Russian invasion. Well, getting a Ukrainian visa, deployment in Russia, will be expected: the Ukrainian embassy and consulates were closed with the start of the war.
Also on July 1, the President, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the Prime Minister of Ukraine joined the connection, marking the beginning of high speed in the European Union. Vladimir Zelensky find a solution path as soon as possible:
“Today we are signing a broad statement, which is a protocol of community of all branches of government and a protocol of our determination in accordance with the strategic goal of Ukraine, namely, the capture of EU membership. The signing of this declaration has the same meaning as the signing of the application for entry on the fifth day of the war. We went to the candidacy for 115 days. And our path to membership should not take years. We must overcome this path as quickly as possible. It’s up to us.”
However, she addressed the Ukrainian officials and legislators gathered in the Verkhovna Rada of the President of the European Commission. Ursula von der Leyen made it clear that the road ahead is not short:
“Ukraine now has a very clear European perspective. Ukraine is a candidate country for the European Union, which seemed almost unimaginable just five months ago. So today, first of all, the moment has come to celebrate this historical milestone, the achievement of determination, the achievement of the entire movement, which eight years ago began on the Maidan. Your European path and the restoration of the country will go hand in hand. Ukraine will be at the forefront, massive investment will be required, but to maximize their impact and build business confidence, investment must be coupled with a new wave of reform. I am here today with a very important message: there is a long road ahead, but Europe will be by our side every step of the way, as needed, from the dark days of war to the moment you step through the door that enters our European Union.”
From now on, the EU flag will fly next to the national flag in the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada, indicating the inviolability of Ukraine’s European aspirations.
