Nausėda: Lithuania plans to actively participate in DIANA innovation ecosystem
Gitanas Nausėda, the creator of the welfare state, participates in the NATO summit together with other heads of state and government, the contributions of the funds allocated to the NATO Innovation Fund have been signed, thus promoting the development of this fund.
“This is another important decision of the Madrid Summit for Lithuania, which will contribute to the economic and technological progress of the Alliance, which is necessary to strengthen the security and resilience of the Allies in the face of emerging threats,” Nausėda revealed.
According to the leader of the state, Lithuania plans to actively participate in the innovation ecosystem of DIANA (Defense Innovations Accelerator for the North Atlantic) and financially supports the Innovation Fund’s investments in the development of the Alliance’s civil and military technologies.
“DIANA will allow the Lithuanian High Technology Center to expand cooperation with other Alliance countries, and the NIF can provide more funding sources for research in Lithuania,” G. Nausėda informed.
1 million The NATO Innovation Fund will invest in potential Alliance start-ups, help develop and adapt emerging technologies in the fields of security and defense.
