Toulouse FC Mercato: Thijs Dallinga arrives at Téfécé
Toulouse FC has finally found its striker. Indeed, the Dutch striker from Excelsior Rotterdam, Thijs Dallinga, arrives in the Pink City. He signed a contract this morning with Téfécé, just promoted to Ligue 1 this season. Toulouse leaders have agreed with their Dutch counterparts for a transaction attributed to 2.5 million euros.
Whereas Rhys Healey is still uncertain about his future, the leaders of Toulouse FC preferred to anticipate a possible departure of their striker, top scorer in Ligue 2 last season with 20 goals. So they bet on Thijs Dallinga, top scorer of Eerste Divisie (Dutch D2), where he scored a whopping 32 goals. This is a very interesting reinforcement for Toulouse FC, which will be able to count on a very young player (21 years old) with great potential. The striker will not be in unfamiliar territory since he will join the compatriots already present at Téfécé, Branco Van Den Boomen and Stijn Spierings. Thijs Dallinga is Toulouse’s third signing after signings from Kjetil Haug and Zakaria Aboukhal.
Toulouse FC Mercato: A goalkeeper and a winger strengthen Téfécé
Toulouse FC is getting stronger little by little. Indeed, the Violets registered a few days ago the arrival of the international hopeful goalkeeper of Norway Kjetil Haug, who comes from Valerenga FC, a Norwegian first division club. He is a tall goalkeeper (1m 91), trained at Manchester City between 2014 and 2018, passed through all categories in selection up to Espoirs. Haug came on to compete with incumbent Maxime Dupé, who made all 38 league appearances for Toulouse, conceding 33 goals and making 16 clean sheets, but whose performances would not satisfy Philippe Montanier. The French coach recommended competing at the goalkeeper position.
Toulouse also saw the arrival of Moroccan international right winger Zakaria Aboukhal, for 2 million euros from AZ Alkmaar. Aboukhal, who scored 8 goals in 45 games with the Dutch team, will certainly bring a lot of impact to the Téfécé attack. With its three new recruits, the Pink City club is making an interesting start to the transfer window.
