Fierce battles were fought here, the blood of those who bravely feared in a fight with the enemy, who gave their lives in the name of the Great Victory, was shed. The Ludchitska Height Memorial of Military Glory is a place dedicated to military glory during the Great Patriotic War. They did not spare their lives, boldly opposed the Nazis, who encroached on the most precious thing – the Motherland. It was at the “Ludchitska Height”, this sacred place, that a solemn rally took place, during which the employees of the Investigative Committee took the Oath of Allegiance to the Republic of Belarus and its people.
The event was attended by the head of the department of the Investigative Committee for the Mogilev region, Major General of Justice Vladimir Shalukhin, the deputy heads of the department of the Colonel of Justice Vasily Krivitsky and the Colonel of Justice Denis Shumin, the head of the Bykhov District Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Vasily Samusenko, as well as employees of the department and investigation.
Not necessarily the exploits of the Soviet people in the years of caution and hard times, to carefully preserve the memory of them – such is the duty of everyone who calls himself a patriot. As a sign of deep honor to the exploits of those who defended the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War and perished in captivity with the enemy, the participants of the subsequent rally laid garlands and flowers at the Eternal Flame. The memory of the fallen heroes of the Fatherland was honored with a minute of silence.
The rally was held on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. The date of this meeting was not chosen by chance. The most important holiday of the country organically combines history and modernity, the glorious heroic past and the creative present of our state. The head of the department of the Investigative Committee for the Mogilev region, Major General of Justice Vladimir Shalukhin, spoke about this, referring to the possession of the rally.
– It is especially symbolic that on the eve of the great holiday – Independence Day – the Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, when the Oath of Allegiance to their country and its people appeared, – the head of the department of the Investigative Committee for the Mogilev region, Major General of Justice Vladimir Shalukhin, was appointed. – And this event is not ordinary, not ordinary. Having taken a solemn Oath, the employee acquires full service rights, and official duties are fully assigned to him. Service in the Investigative Committee is difficult, but important and honorable. Restoration of justice and legality, suppression of crimes – this is what is devoted to the daily routine of investigators.
Serve the testator, the founders of the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Republic of Belarus, fight violators.
The words of the Oath, accepted by the young displaced persons, were solemnly sounded.
A number of employees of the department of the Investigative Committee for the Mogilev region and assigned positions were awarded the next special ranks, commemorative badges of distinction of the Investigative Committee “10-year Investigative Committee for the Republic of Belarus”, and were awarded a class qualification with the award of a badge of distinction.
