Everything is negotiated, approved and confirmed: the trio of Kamba – Kijivu – Shinda females and little Ajabua will be joined in the new gorilla by the male gorilla Kisumu and the female Duni. This is twice as good news: the arrival of Kisum will allow you to have more cubs in the group, and with Duni, the story of our famous Moja will continue in Prague. Duni is her only daughter! We couldn’t have wished for a better outcome – or even imagined.

Kisumu was born in 1997 in Munich and at the age of seven he was moved to Schmiding, Austria, where he still lives in a youth group. Unlike our Richard, whose line is already so-called re-represented, and therefore may not have more cubs, Kisumu has a much better ranking and should become a father in our country.

By moving Duni to Prague, we will also benefit from our efforts, with which we were looking for the best possible location for Moji years ago. Only because Nika’s male is genetically very valuable did Moja be able to have little Duni with him in Cabárcen, Spain in 2013 – and now Duni will also have the opportunity to have her own cub.
