This is what will be presented at the moment of comparison, from the title “Between present and future – Round table on surgery and robotic technology”to be held on the morning of Tuesday 5 July in the Aula Magna of the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara – seat of the University of San Marino.
Professionals and experts in the sector will intervene on stage, addressing the various aspects inherent to the new surgical techniques, with direct reference to the use of robotics in its various applications, up to the integration and use of artificial intelligence.
“This is a dissemination moment of exceptional value in terms of vision in healthcare – explains in a note the director of the Surgery Unit of the Institute for Social Security, Giovanni Landolfo –, with the aim of making countries understand how only technological adaptation and investment in human resources can raise our hospital standard of care for the most developed. On the other hand, investments in innovation, from operational and therapeutic tools, will be increasingly decisive in guaranteeing strategic growth of our health system and the professionalism of our operators. The use of robotics in surgery has now demonstrated evidence and irrefutable results in terms of quality, efficacy and safety of the procedures “.
