US Senators Investigate Reports of Deportation of Ukrainian Children to Russia
Republican Marsha Blackburn, who represented in the Tennessee Senate, sent a message to the Secretary General of the Organization, which found António Guterres, asking him to collect reports that the volume of addictive children went missing after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Republican Senators Bill Cassidy, Chuck Grassley, Roy Blunt, Mike Brown and Tim Scott also signed the appeal to the UN government.
The senators cited representatives of Ukraine’s representatives under Sergiy Kislytsya, who reported that 234 Ukrainian children had been aggressively harassed in Russia since the beginning of the invasion and engulfed children who were placed in foster families against their will.

The authors urgently remind that the abduction of minors is a violation of the UN on genocide. In addition, cases of child abduction were recorded in the UN Security Council of 1999, dedicated to offenses contaminated by the interests of children during military manifestations.
“In the past, kidnappings during wartime by authoritarian regimes have led to sinister acts such as recruitment, thus child sex slavery and football,” the senators wrote.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said in early June that Ukrainian children were being taken to remote areas of Russia to prevent them from returning home.
Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Adjustment in the Russian Federation, supported the idea of simplifying Russian adoption legislation and confirmed that a Russian family would suddenly adopt about 1,560 Ukrainian children. Russian senator Liliya Gumerova took the initiative to organize special children’s camps to teach English to Ukrainian children.
“This development of events is alarming, however, not only that the police seem to be forcibly taking away Ukrainian children, but also that [Россия] now intends to start the indoctrination of the most vulnerable category of the population of Ukraine,” the senators said in a letter.
